The Mpumalanga Commuter is the only commuter newspaper in Mpumalanga. It is distributed bi-monthly (later to be distributed once a week) in all Buscor commuter buses in the Ehlanzeni Municipal District. We are the pulse of the commuter, a voice of the voiceless and a platform for the hard working class. Mpumalanga Commuter’s unique selling is, understanding what our readers want and writing stories from their point of view, thus becoming their voice. The Mpumalanga commuter is all about the commuter, the rural lady that leaves home at 5am to go fend for her children selling vegetables in the street corners of the city, the man who has left behind his family to try and look for means of improving their lives, the students who leaves early in the morning to seek better education in the city with the hope of getting a brighter future. The Mpumalanga Commuter is not about our people, it is our people.
