The case against the wife of former minister, Malusi Gigaba is back at the Pretoria Magistrates Court on Friday.
Norma Mngoma is charged with crimen injuria and malicious damage to property.
She’s alleged to have severely damaged a Mercedes G Wagon belonging to an associate of her estranged husband.
Mngoma was arrested in July and spent the night in the police holding cells.
The matter was postponed after she took the state to court.
She is challenging the constitutionality and validity of her arrest by the Hawks.
Her lawyers argue that her arrest was nothing more than a favour to her husband.
