Eskom will continue with load-shedding on Thursday.
The power utility has announced that it will continue implementing Stage 2 load-shedding from 9am until 10pm as the power system is still severely constrained.
Eskom started implementing rolling blackouts from Tuesday afternoon.
It says while three generation units have returned to service, a further three units tripped, two of which have returned.
Eskom says unplanned breakdowns stand at 12,1000MW of capacity adding to the 4,350MW currently out on planned maintenance.
It says the unit at Tutuka still hasn’t returned to service.
